Dr. Hank Thiele serves as Superintendent of Community High School District 99 in Downers Grove, Illinois, leading approximately 5,000 students and 700 staff members with a focus on flexible, responsive, and personalized learning experiences grounded in access, belonging, and innovation. A longtime leader in educational technology and digital equity, he helped close the homework gap through universal access initiatives and was the first K-12 adopter of Google for Education; his work is most meaningfully informed by his role as a father of two.
