Melissa serves as an ambassador for Wakelet, Book Creator, and Breakout EDU, advocating for technology integration to foster critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, communication, and computational skills. She was on Mississippi's Elementary Computer Science Task Force, empowering educators to meet the requirements of the MS Computer Science and Cyber Education Equality Act.
