I began working for the NYC Department of Education (DOE) in 2014 as a speech provider, where I supported students with diverse communication needs. In 2019, I expanded my role by joining the CAT team, collaborating to enhance student access to assistive technology. I am also an active member of the ATSSS team, which provides augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) programming and implementation support to staff across the NYC DOE. Through my work, I aim to empower students and educators by ensuring effective communication solutions are accessible to all learners within the city’s education system.
