Matt is the Founder/CEO of New Ground Learning, an educational consulting practice providing leadership services to school districts and coaching services to EdTech companies.  Serving 24 years as a public educator, with the last decade as a school superintendent, he offers practical, pragmatic, and innovative insights translating the operating code for schools.  Matt serves as a founding member on the Institute for Education Innovation (IEI) Board of Directors, a superintendent member organization connecting school leaders with education solution providers.  He is also the managing partner for K12Spark, an EdTech accelerator helping early-stage companies grow, develop, and refine their innovative solutions.
