Dr. Dana T. Bedden brings 30 years of experience in educational leadership to drive academic success, promote diversity and inclusion, and foster positive work environments. Dr. Bedden has developed a results-oriented reputation for improving academic performance, managing human resources, and building community partnerships. As a Regional and District Superintendent of Schools in Pennsylvania, Georgia, Texas, and Virginia, Dr. Bedden has overseen as few as six to as many as 58 schools/campuses, with student populations ranging from 5500 to 200,000 students, 750 to 5000 employees, and budgets between $72M to $500M. He has also served on several advisory committees and taught courses in educational leadership related to school law, principal and superintendent preparation/certification, and teaching and learning. As a school district leader, he is leading efforts to implement systems thinking, guiding instructional changes to improve student outcomes, expanding social-emotional academic learning as well as digital-online instructional opportunities. He has successfully negotiated new contracts, addressed unresolved facility issues, and introduced social-emotional academic learning and trauma-informed schools.
