Dr. Chad A. Stevens is a seasoned leader in educational technology, currently serving as the CEO of TinkRworks. His expertise lies in blending business strategies with educational insights to drive long-term sustainable growth. He was recently named EdTech Chronicle's 2023 Best C-Level Officer in Education/EdTech. In 2023, EdTech Digest named Chad a Top 100 Influencer in EdTech.

Before joining TinkRworks, he was at ParentSquare as their first Chief Strategy Officer in 2021, a role responsible for crafting, communicating, and executing strategic initiatives. He later expanded his responsibilities to include the role of Chief Marketing Officer, further shaping the company's strategic directions while overseeing all aspects of marketing and brand development. His strategic initiatives significantly boosted company growth and market presence. In 2023, ParentSquare debuted at #1060 on the Inc. 5000 list and moved up to #763 in 2024.

His previous roles include leadership positions at Amazon Web Services (AWS) and CDW-G. At AWS, he was the inaugural K-12 employee, launching the business in 2016. He developed key programs for Educational Service Agencies, secured a data egress waiver for K-12 institutions globally, and facilitated the partnership with Code.org in 2019, impacting millions of students worldwide. While at AWS, Chad served on CoSN's Driving K-12 Innovation Global Advisory Board, which focused on major themes driving, hindering, and enabling teaching and learning innovation in schools. His leadership at CDW-G as the Chief Education Strategist resulted in the top E-Rate program in the U.S. and earned CDW-G the Intel, Google, and Microsoft Education Partners of the Year awards in 2015.

Chad's public education career began at Clear Creek ISD in Texas, where he served in various capacities including Teacher, Principal, and Chief Technology Officer over 14 years. A highlight of his career was being named Teacher of the Year at Ed White Elementary. His administrative work was featured in "The Principal’s Guide to Curriculum Leadership," and he maintains Superintendent Certification in Texas.

Chad serves on the Board of CoSN (the Consortium for School Networking) and is the former Board Chair of the Indian Prairie Education Foundation. He holds a B.S. from Tarleton State University, an M.S. in Educational Management from the University of Houston – Clear Lake, and a Doctorate of Philosophy in Educational Administration from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas.
