Tory Van Voorhis has worked in the education technology industry for 20 years. She is the founder and CEO of Second Avenue Learning, a woman-owned business that specializes in the development of award-winning interactive media and serious games. Her goal for Second Avenue is to creatively blend pedagogy and technology to create effective learning games and solutions that have positive impact. Tory has written several book chapters and presented on the power of play in learning at national industry conferences as well as for Google and TedX. Victoria received her undergraduate degree from Smith College and her master’s degree from New York University.
