Shavonda Guilford currently serves as a Special Education Trainer for the Bronx Regional Partnership Center. Previously, she served as the Director of Family and Community Engagement, Special Education for the New York City Department of Education's Special Education Office. She currently holds both special education and general education teaching certifications, as well as a School Building Leader certification. She acquired her Master of Science in Education from Long Island University and her Master of Science in Educational Leadership from Fordham University. Before working for the Special Education Office, Shavonda spent seven years as a teacher. She taught both general education and special education, primarily math, science, and ELA from grades 5-9.
