Laura Pollak supervises the Nassau RIC Data Privacy and Security Service (DPSS), providing data privacy and cybersecurity resources that support district efforts to protect and secure data. She also supervises the RIC’s Nassau Association of School Technologists (NASTECH), a collegial group of technology leaders that meets monthly to collaborate on educational technology best practices, and is Nassau BOCES’ appointed Data Protection Officer. Laura volunteers on CoSN’s Data Privacy and Driving K-12 Innovation Advisory boards, serves on multiple RIC One workgroups and was one of 12 chosen to serve the K12 SIX inaugural Steering Committee.
