Bio

Charity Delsie, M.S., CCC-SLP, received her Master of Science degree in Speech and Language Pathology from Teachers College, Columbia University, and her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Northwestern University. She is licensed by the state of New York, holds her Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association, and is certified as a Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Difficulties. Through the NYCPS, she has spent over a decade treating children in specialized programs for students with disabilities, including the Horizon Program and ACES (Academic, Career, and Essential Skills Program). She currently conducts evaluations with the Central Assistive Technology Team, specializing in Augmentative Alternative Communication, and provides implementation support and training for students and staff using assistive technology to access curriculum. Charity has enjoyed related educational and healthcare experiences in locales such as Ghana and South Africa. She is a supervisor to new clinicians, and speech pathology clinical fellows. Charity loves all forms of communication!
