Julia Moore is a Senior Occupational Therapist, and Center for Assistive Technology Evaluator/ Trainer at the New York City Department of Education. Julia provides school based occupational therapy services and conducts Assistive Technology evaluations and training for students and staff in New York City. Julia has been an Occupational Therapist for over 29 years. She is a World Federation Occupational Therapist (WFOT) who was first trained in England and completed her post professional degree in Pediatric Developmental delays at NYU. Julia has worked with students attending Heartshare, United Cerebral Palsy and in the NEST program at New York City Department of Education. Julia has also worked as an Occupational Therapy evaluator for the Infant and Child Learning Center at SUNY Downstate Hospital and provided Early Intervention Services with various agencies and sensory clinics. Prior to specializing in pediatrics Julia worked as an occupational therapist in various settings including a psychiatric hospital, general hospital, and rehabilitation centers treating various medical, psychiatric conditions.
