Randi Ashkenas, MS, OTR/L, has been an Occupational Therapist with the Department of Education for 21 years. She received an MS degree in Occupational Therapy from Columbia University and an MS degree in Applied Psychology from Steven's Institute of Technology.  Randi has worked in a variety of capacities with the Department of Education to support students through direct therapeutic service as well as by evaluating and training students for Assistive Technology as a member of the Center for Assistive Technology. She also supports students at the DOE's Sensory Exploration and Education Program. Randi has provided Early Intervention Services to children through various NYC agencies and has worked as a Hand/Shoulder Rehabilitation Therapist. Prior to becoming an Occupational Therapist, Randi was an Assistant Vice President at Merrill Lynch and Co. where she worked in the Training and Development Department as an Instructional Designer and subsequently managed their Training Evaluation and Assessment Team.
