Leanne Ellis is the Manhattan School Library for New York City Public Schools. She supports librarians and teachers with professional learning, administers grants, and school-based mentoring and guidance. Leanne manages MyLibraryNYC, a partnership program with the three public library systems; the citywide Destiny School Library Catalog; and an annual hybrid statewide conference for librarians. She helps to lead the Sustainable Libraries Initiative to help educators develop their professional practice. Leanne also ran a hybrid media literacy course in the Constructivist Media Decoding method, founded by Project Look Sharp out of Ithaca College.
