The Division of Multilingual Learners (DML) is led by Deputy Chief Academic Officer Mirza Sánchez-Medina. The division sits within the Office of the CAO and encompasses four teams that support and advocate for our city’s Multilingual Learners and English Language Learners (MLs/ELLs): Research, Instruction, and Professional Learning; School Support and Implementation; Multilingual and Immigrant Student Supports; and, Continuous Learning.
