Kathryn has been working as a pediatric occupational therapist in the New York City Public Schools since 2018. Throughout her career, she has worked with students of diverse needs spanning from Pre-K through High School. After recognizing the transformative potential of technology in shaping students’ educational experiences, she dove into the field of assistive technology and joined the Central Assistive Technology Team. She orchestrates comprehensive evaluations and imparts training sessions to school teams across all five boroughs. She a RESNA-certified Assistive Technology Professional and is passionate about capitalizing on student’s strengths to help them achieve academic success. She is an advocate for cultivating inclusivity and equity in school communities. She has presented at the city-wide AT Expo.
