Thomas Willson has been a Physical Therapist with New York City Public Schools for over 20 years working with students with disabilities in the educational setting to support their physical and functional needs and promoting their participation and success in school activities and programs. In 2010 Thomas began working with the NYCPS Center for Assistive Technology Team as an Assistive Technology Evaluator, utilizing his expertise to assess and recommend specialized devices and technologies that empower students with disabilities to reach their full potential. Thomas previously worked for over 16 years as an adjunct professor in the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at New York Medical College with lectures in seating, positioning, and mobility in pediatrics, school-based physical therapy, and the biomechanical analysis of pediatric gait.
