Lisa Nielsen began at the New York City Department of Education in 1997 as a library media specialist and technology staff developer. Since then she has worked in various capacities as a public school teacher and administrator. Her areas of expertise include digital citizenship, digital literacy, and digital accessibility. Currently she serves as Manhattan’s Technology Executive Director for the Division of Instructional and Information Technology.
