Girls Who Code
Description
"Girls Who Code is an international non-profit organization leading the movement to close the gender gap in technology and change the image of what a programmer looks like and does. Through their free and flexible computer science programs and resources across all skill levels — including the 2-week Virtual Summer Immersion Program, after-school Clubs Program curriculum (for all genders), downloadable Code at Home activities, and College Loops Program — they are working to inspire, educate, and equip girls and non-binary students to be brave and resilient as they learn to use code to change the world.
Since they were founded in 2012, Girls Who Code has reached over 450,000 students around the world, with their college-age alumni majoring in CS and related fields at 15x the national average!"
