A 26-year veteran in NYCDOE serving in multiple capacities, and a former NYC public school graduate, Yuderquis eagerly joined DML (for a second time) this past year during the pandemic. As a former elementary bilingual teacher, literacy coach, field resource instructional specialist, and Assistant Principal, Yuderquis supports teachers and school leaders with resources and professional learning opportunities that support emergent bilinguals’ biliteracy and bilingual development.
