Lauren Sullivan is in her 13th year of working with the students and families of NYC. She began as a Special Education Teacher in District 4 where she experienced the positive impact of inclusive practices on the educational experiences of students with and without disabilities. After 6 years as a special education teacher and upon graduating from Bank Street College of Education with a Masters in Leadership for Educational Change, Lauren joined the Special Education Office. She currently works to develop and deliver professional learning for school based psychologists, social workers, psychologists in training in addition to supporting city-wide initiatives related to clinical work.
