Andrea is the librarian at East Side Community School, a 6th-12th grade Consortium school in Manhattan. The librarian there for the last 18 years, Andrea loves connecting students to books and research materials that support them, and is grateful to have administrators and teachers who believe that a school library is essential. Andrea has been curating the city’s LGBTQ+ special collection for 9 years, and is the faculty advisor for the GSA at East Side.
