Bio
Christina serves the New York City Department of Education (NYCDOE) as an Ed Tech Program Implementation Manager and Teacher Team Leadership Coach for the Division of Instructional & Information Technology (DIIT). Christina's team is spearheading a single vision for technology in the biggest school district in the nation & regularly meets with education leaders influencing policy & practice. She is a Ph.D. candidate at The CUNY Graduate Center where she researches the policies that surround educational technology & its implications for successful integration in K12 schools & Higher Education Schools of Education (SOE). A major part of her research encompasses the way purposeful partnerships across education & corporate systems can positively influence student outcomes. Christina's involvement in her Ph.D. program allowed for her to start her journey as an Adjunct Professor in the SOE at Brooklyn College, where she teaches 7-12th-grade preservice educators of English & supervises them throughout their student teaching experience. Additionally, Christina has severed as advising counsel for the SOE's initiatives & assists Deans of Education in successful education technology adoption & incorporation.
