Dr. Abi Ruiz is a mathematics education leader, researcher, and Executive Director of Mathkind Global. With over a decade of experience in public education, she has designed research-based mathematics learning experiences, mentored educators and preservice teachers, and supported student-centered instructional practices. As an NSF Noyce Fellow in partnership with Orange County Public Schools and the University of Central Florida, an elected board member of NCSM: Leadership in Mathematics Education, and a board member of the Florida Association of Latino Administrators and Superintendents (FL-ALAS), Abi collaborates with educators across local, national, and international communities to strengthen mathematics leadership, build capacity, and advance equitable, engaging mathematics learning for all students.
