AJ Phillips is the Director of Information Technology Services for Prince William County Public Schools in Manassas, Virginia. Ms. Phillips has occupied this position for the past six years. She is an experienced educator with a total of 25 years in education, with 6 of those years focused on instructional technology.

Ms. Phillips received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the State University of New York at Oswego with a major in Elementary Education. She completed her Masters of Education from George Mason University in 1999, and her Masters of Science in Educational Administration from the University of Scranton in 2008. In 2015 she was recognized by the Center for Digital Education as one of the top 30 Technologists, Transformers, and Trailblazers. The Fall 2016 Toggle magazine issue acknowledged Ms. Phillips for helping to build schools of the future with student achievement as the foundation. In the Summer of 2019, CDW-G, EdTech Focus on K-12 magazine highlighted how Ms. Phillips “created a better business case” with the PWC School Board to increase bandwidth in the Division.
