Dr. Melissa McCalla serves as Chief Technology Officer and Associate Superintendent for Campus Development in Pasadena ISD, one of Texas's largest school districts. With more than 20 years of experience spanning teaching, campus leadership, district administration, and executive leadership, she leads strategic initiatives focused on technology, cybersecurity, digital innovation, instructional systems, libraries, virtual learning, and facility development. Melissa oversees multimillion-dollar budgets and complex transformation projects that support student success and organizational effectiveness. Beyond her district responsibilities, she actively contributes to the advancement of K-12 education through leadership and collaboration with organizations including Texas Education Technology Leaders (TETL), CoSN, ERDI, and the National Council for Innovation, Technology & Learning (NCITL). She is passionate about helping school systems reimagine learning, build future-ready organizations, and create innovative opportunities that empower students, educators, and communities.
