Join these two educational leaders for a Tech & Learning webinar where we will discuss standards-based grading – including the benefits, challenges, and ways to overcome common obstacles that leaders face during a change of practice.

The panel will also discuss the value of standards-based grading and how it allows educators to better understand students’ strengths and areas of opportunity, as well as  how any implementation challenges are outweighed by the impact this model has on improving student outcomes.

Steve Oertle, Assistant Superintendent at Roxana Community Unit School District 1 in Illinois, will join the Tech & Learning team to break down current research in education around the impact that student-led learning environments can have on student outcomes.

Steve will also be joined by Chris Hull, Otus Co-Founder and President, who will share tangible ways educators can incorporate research into work with students — including the use of rubrics to measure and communicate progress towards learning standards and social emotional learning plans to ensure growth of the whole child.
