Mikayle Goss is the superintendent of Boles ISD, a 2A UIL classified district, comprised of approximately 547 students. Boles is located in rural Quinlan, TX, an hour northeast of the DFW metroplex. The students and staff earned an Accountability Rating of ‘A’ from the Texas Education Agency. The Boles district is only 9 square miles with little property value and rely heavily on state and federal aid. The student body is comprised of roughly 75% transfer students from thirteen neighboring districts. Despite not having an established community, the Boles ISD has a strong and vested circle of support within our staff, families, and nearby business and community members.

Mrs. Goss has been the superintendent of Boles ISD since January 7th, 2020. Formally, she served 9 rural school districts as the Director of the Hunt County Cooperative. Prior to the directorship, she was the assistant superintendent and high school principal for Boles ISD. Providing world class educational opportunities in a rural, small school environment is a constant goal for Mrs. Goss, as she is passionate about the small school initiative.
