Fort Worth ISD Assistant Superintendent Dr. Becky Navarre is an experienced educational leader with over 25 years of service in public education. Appointed to her current position in May 2014, Navarre leads the district’s strategic efforts to prepare students for success in college, career and community leadership, the district’s vision. Her strategy involves a focus on effective teaching and learning, standards-based assessment and making sure systems are in place to ensure continuous improvement efforts focused on results. Dr. Navarre believes that in order to achieve future-readiness for every student, the system must focus on three inter-related learning agendas: student learning, professional learning, and system learning. Her efforts focus on supporting and improving learning at all levels in the organization.
