Kim Livingston has been an educator for over twenty-two years and currently serves as a Transformation Coach for the South Carolina Department of Education. Ms. Livingston has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Education from the University of South Carolina-Aiken. Ms. Livingston also has a Master of Administration and Supervision from Southern Wesleyan University. Kim has also been an adjunct professor at the University of South Carolina-Aiken. Ms. Livingston was a classroom teacher for 14 years and became a Literacy Coach and served in this capacity for 5 years. She then transitioned into the Office of Federal Programs as the Literacy Coordinator for Aiken County Public Schools. During this time, Ms. Livingston was the district liaison for Literacy Coaches, Read to Succeed, district Reading Plans, as well as, the coordinator for Read 180 and System 44. Kim is passionate about literacy, enjoys building teams, and working with principals and collaborating on professional development that inspires teachers, builds capacity, and motivates students.
