Dr. Roberts serves the Batesburg-Leesville High School administrative team as Assistant Principal for Instruction. Roberts earned a B.S. in Broadcast Journalism and a M.A.T. in Middle Grades Education from Georgia Southern University. She also received a M.Ed. in Education Administration in 2015 and an Ed.D. in Educational Technology-Leadership in 2020 from the University of South Carolina. After beginning her career in education in Beaufort County Schools as a sixth grade Science and Social Studies teacher in 2011, she moved to Lexington School District Two, where she taught seventh grade Science, and served as a secondary administration intern and technology integration specialist until 2016. During her years in Lexington 2, she implemented a 1:1 technology planning committee and led the development of school-based 1:1 technology implementation. As a doctoral student, her research focused on the development of student metacognitive self-regulation in technology-rich learning environments.
