Keynote: The Analog Comeback Tour: From ChatGPT to Chalkboards

As schools debate whether technology has gone too far, this interactive keynote takes a humorous trip back to the “good old days” of card catalogs, overhead projectors, and floppy disks. Through nostalgia, audience challenges, and quick design-thinking activities, participants explore what we’d gain and what we’d definitely lose if classrooms truly went back to analog. The session ultimately reframes the conversation, showing that the real goal isn’t choosing between old tools and new ones, but intentionally designing learning experiences where technology amplifies human creativity and problem-solving. Presented by Carl Hooker.
